Dear Editor,
It is truly worldwide; sex and money and abuse of them lead to so many political leaders falling off their perches. Enoch Powell opined that ‘All political careers end in failure’.
As you are sadly seeing in at least two cases in Guyana in recent months, that failure can be self-inflicted. Tractor/porn videos in the Commons and cocaine, group sex and alleged embezzlement in the UK among our legislators. Welcome to the modern world of power snakes and ladders my comrades.
