Heavyweights and undefeated sides Rosignol United and Paradise Invaders played to a 1-1 stalemate when the Berbice Football Association (BFA) Senior Men’s League continued Sunday evening.
Staged at the Rosignol Community Centre ground, the hosts seized the lead when Ntini Bobb etched his name on the scorer’s sheet in the 14th minute. The lead would remain unchanged heading into the halftime interval.
However, Paradise would earn a share of the spoils, as Compton Cudjoe made his presence felt in the dying moments of the fixture via a 90th+1 minute strike.
Meanwhile, Hopetown Rangers defeated Ithaca 2-0 in the earlier contest. Delquan Lewis opened the scoring in the 12th minute whilst Equano Small found the back of the net in the 21st minute to settle the outcome.
