Potaro Strikers and Lazio recorded contrasting wins when the Bartica Football Association Senior Men’s League continued on Wednesday evening at the Community Centre ground.
Potaro Strikers dismantled Agatash 8-0. Reon Hall and Daniel Gardener led the rout with respective second-half doubles. Hall found the back of the net in the 47th and 53rd minute, whilst Gardener etched his name on the scorer’s sheet in the 60th and 65th minute.
Adding goals in the 30th, 62nd, 69th, and 71st minute respectively were Keron Spencer, Shemar Stephen, Troy Parris, and Kareem Hudges.
On the other hand, Lazio edged Mil Ballers 1-0. Joseph Cox recorded the only conversion of the fixture in the 20th minute. The event continues today at the same venue with another doubleheader.
