Roshane Dellon Pellew called ‘Kevin Savory’, a 26-year-old labourer of Lot 25 Buxton, East Coast Demerara, was arrested on 2023-08-02 and charged on 2023-08-04 with possession of a firearm without a licence, the police say.
He was also charged with giving false information to the police.
On 2023-08-04, at about 12:15 hrs, the defendant appeared at the Cove and John Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Fabayo Azore, where the charges were read to him.
He pleaded not guilty and was placed on $150,000 and $25,000 bail, respectively. The matter was put down for 16th October 2023.
