(Trinidad Express) A San Fernando businesswoman was shot dead outside her home at Union Hall yesterday morning.
She was identified as Allison DeLeon, owner of DeLeon’s Banana Limited, a distributor of bananas.
Police said DeLeon, 43, was ambushed as she drove out of her driveway at around 8.30am.
The gunmen, who police believe was hiding in some bushes nearby, opened fire on the woman’s Range Rover vehicle.
She was hit multiple times and died at the scene.
Police have no motive for the killing at this time.
