Where did the email to Red Thread come from?

Dear Editor,

Red Thread was sent a threat via email, the simplest form of electronic medium to track, therefore it was surprising to see Nazar ‘Shell’ Mohamed put out a press statement informing all and sundry that neither he nor his son, Azruddin had anything to do with the threat. It begs the question as to whom the email was traced and attributed? Was Nazar Mohamed asked to give a statement by the Guyana Police Force? if so why? And if not, then why would he? It is all very complicated whenever rich people are involved with a GPF investigation.

Law enforcement agencies have numerous tools available for email tracking, some are not available to the general public, and are quite reliable.  There are two possible outcomes of this email tracking; A. Nothing to do with the Mohameds or B. Originating from them or someone working for them. If A. the GPF should say so and eliminate the need for Nazar Mohamed to make statements (police and/or public) If B. then charges should be made or at least the file sent to the DPP for ‘advice’ (or to gather dust.)

Editor, something stinks of fish here, and clarification should be provided by the Commissioner of Police, Clifton Hicken, given the brouhaha surrounding the last GPF investigation involving Azruddin Mohamed.

Sincerely,
Robin Singh
