Man charged over threatening language at Independence Boulevard

Kevin Blair appeared virtually on Friday at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court where he was charged with using threatening language and malicious damage to property.

It is alleged that on Saturday August 12, at Independence Boulevard, Georgetown, Blair used threatening language toward Samantha Bourne causing a breach of the peace.

It is also alleged that on the same date and place, he maliciously damaged one dog kennel valued at $17,120, belonging to Bourne.

The prosecutor had no objections to bail but requested that the defendant be placed on a bond to keep the peace.  Following his not guilty plea, Blair was placed on bail at $10,000 for each charge.

He was also placed on a bond until the completion of the matter or in default three weeks imprisonment.

The matter has been adjourned to October 09.
