Minister of Health, Dr Frank Anthony on Saturday conducted a walk-through at the Dental Outreach held at the Nabaclis Health Centre, East Coast of Demerara.
The activity was organised and hosted by the Cheddi Jagan Dental School, a release from the ministry said. Residents came out in their numbers to access dental care and services and other medical services.
Anthony stated that the outreach forms part of the ministry’s ongoing oral health programme that stretches across the East Coast of Demerara and other parts of Guyana.
The Ministry of Health has extended its dental services to all ten administrative regions. Residents can now enjoy these services for free at any of the public institutions, the release said.
