Trinidad: One man killed, 2 children shot as gunman opens fire on house

(Trinidad Guardian) A hooded gunman unleashed a barrage of bullets at a house in Golconda on Friday night, killing one man and injuring two children.

A gardener identified as Billy Williams, also known as “Halfers,” succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds.

Police said Williams, 50, attempted to flee as the gunman indiscriminately opened fire on the residence.

Williams, a father of three and a grandfather of two, ran into the house clutching his wounds before falling and dying.

Nine-year-old King Charles was also shot and remains warded in a stable condition at the San Fernando General Hospital.

Another victim, Israel Monroe, aged 15, was also wounded but has since been discharged from the hospital.
