Agatash dismantled AK Galaxy by a 4-1 score-line when the Bartica Football Association Senior Men’s League continued on Friday evening at the Community Centre ground.
Dishon Stephen opened the scoring for Agatash via a fourth minute strike. However, Samuel Mentore equalized for AK Galaxy, as he found the back of the net in the 13th minute. The score remained unchanged heading into the halftime interval. However, Agatash secured the result following three unanswered goals in the second half.
George Mentis pushed his side ahead as he etched his name on the scorer’s sheet in the 54th minute. Mentis then made his presence felt once more to complete his brace, as he found the back of the net in the 60th minute to push the score to 3-1. The result was then sealed in the 70th minute via a Danzil Barker strike. The tournament continues tomorrow at the same venue with another doubleheader.
