Twenty-year-old, Leslie Franklin, called ‘Bonichie’, of Belmont, Mahaica, East Coast Demerara, has been jailed for two years after pleading guilty to the offence of break and enter.
Franklin was accused of breaking into a building owned by Myrtle London, a sixty-eight-year-old pensioner of Belmont.
He appeared at the Mahaica Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Alisha George, where the charge was read to him.
Franklin pleaded guilty and was sentenced to two years imprisonment.
