Lionel Fitzpatrick Haynes, a 61-year-old man of Auchlyne Estate, Corentyne, Berbice, was charged on Monday with riding an unlicensed motorcycle under the influence of alcohol.
Haynes appeared via Zoom at the Whim Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate R. Singh where the charges were read to him. He pleaded guilty to both charges and was fined $5000 and $200,000 respectively.
