Several security guards have been held after the Guyana Revenue Authority bond at Corriverton, Corentyne was broken into on Thursday.
Sources say a quantity of liquor including Hennessy, Johnny Walker, Ciroc and Grey Goose was stolen.
The thieves got into the bond via the roof, sources say.
Some of the alcohol has been found at the homes of the guards and also at the abode of a businesswoman. She and a hire car driver have been taken into custody.
