Kowlessar nets five goals as Enterprise routs St Aloysius

Defending champions Enterprise, Den Amstel, Ann’s Grove and Marian Academy were among the winners when the 10th Courts Pee Wee Football Championship resumed yesterday at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.

Enterprise mauled St. Aloysius 6-1. Dontay Kowlessar smashed five goals in the 10th, 13th, 16th, 18th, and 22nd minute while Solomon Leitch netted in the 36th minute. On target in the loss was Dorwin Williamson in the 14th minute.

Den Amstel duly crushed Winfer Gardens by the identical 6-1 score. Akroy DeSantos led the rout with a brace in the 29th and 34th minute while Andrew Robin, Kestor Jacobs, Kaden Trotman, and Christian Mendonca scored in the ninth, 23rd, 30th, and 32nd minute respectively. For the loser, Malachi Ellis netted in the fifth minute.

Similarly, Ann’s Grove blanked One Mile 5-0. Isaiah Pellew tallied a double in the eighth and 34th minute while Rafee Berkshire and Levi Baynes scored in the 26th and 37th minute respectively. Adding to the score was an own goal in the 26th minute.

Meanwhile, Marian Academy edged All Saints 3-2 via a Cristiano LaRose hat-trick in the 12th, 23rd, and 36th minute. On the other side, Adriel Samuels registered a double in the 11th and 20th minutes.
