Fire ravages Region Two councillor’s house

Millions of dollars went up in flames last evening at the home  of Region Two Councillor, Vierna Rasheed at Queenstown village.

The fire started around 7.35 pm. According to information,  residents saw smoke coming from the house and quickly called for Rasheed. 

The fire station was also alerted of the fire. The fire-fighters tried desperately to put out the flames. The councillor lived with her husband in the house. According to information no one was injured. Many persons gathered to help but the fire was too big to extinguish. It is unclear what may have caused the fire.
