Christopher Collette, a 32-year-old glass technician of Plantation Providence, EBD, was arrested last week and charged yesterday with ‘Obtaining Money by False Pretence’.
A release from the police said that he is accused of the offence committed on 2 August 2023 on Shameer Mohammad at Lamaha Street, Georgetown.
The accused appeared at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court #2 before Magistrate Leron Daly, where the charge was read to him.
He was placed on $100,000 cash bail. The matter was adjourned to 22 November 2023.
