Looknauth replaces Shepherd in Harpy Eagles squad

Demerara all-rounder Rishi Looknauth has earned his maiden call up for the Guyana National One-Day side replacing all-rounder Romario Shepherd for the regional one day competition the CG United Super50.

According to a press release from the Guyana Cricket Board, “Shepherd

will be leaving Super50 campaign immediately due to a family emergency.”

Looknauth struck an unbeaten half century against Berbice in the final of the GCB Senior Inter-County Super50 tournament last month.

The Harpy Eagles team is currently in fifth place in the regional CG United Super50 competition and will oppose the West Indies Academy in their next game tomorrow.

The match will be played at the Sir Frank Worrell memorial Ground, St Augustine.
