Republic Drive, Sideline, to battle for BV Inter-Block title tonight

Republic Drive and Sideline will contest the final of the Beterverwagting (BV) Inter-Block Football Championship this evening at the Community Centre ground from 21:00hrs.

Republic Drive captain Brandon Solomon stated that his charges are prepared for a grueling encounter but are confident of emerging victorious. Meanwhile, the skipper of Sideline, Jerome Harrigon, echoed similar sentiments, stating that while he envisions a competitive game, his side possesses the requisite quality and experience to prevail.

Sideline defeated Ogle Street in their semi-final encounter, while Republic Drive bested Gulf Warriors at the same stage. In the earlier third-place playoff, Ogle Street will oppose the Gulf Warriors at 19:00hrs.

The event is coordinated by Team Cruel and DJ Darry. The first, second, third, and fourth-place prizes for the event are $300,000, $200,000, $100,000, and $50,000, respectively.
