Joshua Creed appeared at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court on Friday before Magistrate Leron Daly where he was charged with robbery.

It is alleged that on October 28, at Fort Street, Kingston, Georgetown, he robbed Soujal Kabir Chowdrie of one iPhone 14 valued $300,000, one black wallet valued $10,000, and one iPhone 12 Pro Max valued $300,000, for a total value of $610,000 dollars.

It is also alleged that at the time before or after which he would have robbed Chowdrie, he made use of personal violence against him.

Creed pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The court also heard that after his arrest, the defendant took the police to where he had hidden the stolen items.

The prosecutor objected to bail due the nature and gravity of the offence. Bail was refused and Creed was remanded to prison.
