The charred remains discovered in a torched car at Swan Village, Linden-Soesdyke Highway on Sunday are suspected to be Nirvana Algu of Bel Air, who is reportedly missing.
According to a police source, Algu was last seen in her car alone along the East Bank Demerara at the Soesdyke junction.
The torched car, which was discovered around 17:00 hrs on Sunday, was registered in Algu’s name.
DNA samples were taken for testing, the source said as investigations are ongoing.
