Road 2 Recovery International Volleyball Championship starts tomorrow

International volleyball will return to the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue, tomorrow (Friday), when the Road to Recovery Championship, which features participation from Brazil, French Guiana, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago (T&T) clubs, kicks off at 16:00 hrs.

The event, which is a collaborative effort between the Eagles Volleyball Club and the Guyana Volleyball Federation, will last for three days. The semi-final section will be primary staged on Saturday, while the resulting third-place playoffs and final will be hosted on Sunday.

In the men’s segment, Demerara, Yelico (Suriname), and Amazonia (Brazil) feature in group 1, while group 2 contains Berbice, Big Sepos (T&T), and Yellow Birds (Suriname).

On the women’s side, group 1 comprises Guyana, Amazonia (Brazil), and Cayenne (French Guiana), while Yelico (Suriname) and Big Sepos (T&T) make up group 2.
