Dear Editor,
The past couple of days all that has been on all of our minds is whether Venezuela will invade or not. As such you saw the unity and messages of what is right (Essequibo is we own) being spread across our nation and even in the diaspora. However, a few persons are trying hard to gain political mileage by trying to bring down the Government and their efforts as it relates to this border issue. We are a peaceful people and the way our President and his cabinet have addressed this situation is commendable! During times likes this, we ought to display patriotism with pride and unity across our wonderful and beautiful country. Don’t let those who would do anything for power break us apart but come together and let us remind the world that the mighty Essequibo belongs to all of us!
