Mosasa Moses, a 39-year-old businessman of Mocha, East Bank Demerara, was arrested on Wednesday and charged yesterday by a rank from the Golden Grove Police Station with Possession of Narcotics for Trafficking.
Moses was arrested at Mocha and had in his possession at the time 27 grams of marijuana, the police said. The defendant appeared yesterday at the Golden Grove Magistrate’s Court before Principal Magistrate Judy Latchman where the charge was read to him.
He pleaded not guilty and was placed on $40,000 bail. The matter was adjourned to 2024-01-23.
