Guyana’s campaign starts today when the Ruggers lock horns with the Atlantis Men at 10:00am before taking on the T&T Defence Force at 12:40am. The team has been training under the watchful eyes of Coach Claudius Butts.

The squad consists of the captain, Jamal Angus, vice-captain, Vallon Adams, Kevin Grant, Scott Garraway, Tyrese Prescod, Akino James, Jonathan Garnett, Ronald Niles, Lionel Holder, Sean Phillips, Leon Cole, and Godfrey Broomes.

The Grenada 7s have attracted teams from the UK, USA, Canada, and the Caribbean. It is the longest-running Club Rugby 7s tournament in the region and has returned to the ‘Spice Isle’ for its second year. Eighteen of the world’s best men’s and women’s Elite 7s teams will compete in the two-day tournament for a total prize pool of US $20,000. The ‘Jags’ will be aiming to spring upsets and cash in on the incentives.
