Dear Editor,
In the midst of all the turmoil, the return of the delightful festive programme, ‘Festival of Carols’, after a three year absence, (SN Dec 7), is something to smile about and look forward to. This annual feature, for decades (52nd year being observed), embodied the true spirit of Christmas and was a wholesome, much loved family outing. The return of this joyful, entertaining festival is just what is needed at this time as we try to cope with the adversities of life.
