Khadidja Ba, a 26-year-old Human Resources Officer of Crown and Oronoque streets, Queenstown, Georgetown, appeared yesterday before Senior Magistrate Sunil Scarce at the Diamond/Golden Grove Magistrate’s Court where she was charged with larceny.
Ba pleaded not guilty to the charge
The offence was allegedly committed on the house of 40-year-old Christine Camber De Forrester of Diamond Housing Scheme, East Bank Demerara where Ba is accused of stealing US$4,440 and $200,000 all belonging Christine Camber De Forrester.
The magistrate granted bail in the sum of $100,000.
The matter was adjourned to January 15, 2024, and transferred to Diamond Magistrate’s Court to be heard before Principal Magistrate Judy Latchman.
