“An hour and a half or so ago I received word that my Secretary for more than 14 years, Anita Narine, was killed in a road accident. She was patient and unflappable and always knew how to respond when necessary, sometimes with just ‘Kamal’ to stop me in my tracks. She had my job organised in such a way that when she was not there, like yesterday, I just put things off until she came back”, he said.

Anita leaves to mourn her husband and two children, Miranda and Josh.

Police investigations revealed that the minibus #BAD 6362 was proceeding west along the road at a fast rate when the left front of the vehicle collided with Narine who was crossing the road.
