2023 saw a record number of players from Guyana being selected for West Indies duties at all levels, according to the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB).
In a press release, the GCB stated, “Guyana enjoyed a record year as a number of players were selected for West Indies and Caribbean Premier League (CPL) duties in both male and female senior and junior teams throughout 2023.”
However, it must be noted that being selected for CPL duties does not amount to national or regional representation, as the CPL is categorised as franchise cricket. Listed below are the names of cricketers who were selected for West Indian duties throughout the past year.
