The Lamaha Springs and Bel Air communities pooled their resources and yesterday presented two new motor vehicles to the Guyana Police Force.

A  handover ceremony was done yesterday morning at the Tactical Services Unit (TSU) Square, Police Headquarters, Eve Leary.

Due to the increase in crime in the area, residents came together and partnered with the police. These new vehicles will be used for patrolling the areas, a release from the police said.

In brief remarks, Commissioner Clifton Hicken lauded the support of the residents and also the private sector for this timely donation.
