Police get 13 motorcycles

The Guyana Police Force yesterday received 13 motorcycles which were donated by several private sector entities/businesses from across the country, including Innovations America, J’s Supermarket, Two Brothers Service Station/Shioil, Jaigobin Hotel and R. Kissoon Contracting Service.

According to a police press release, businessman Lorenzo Alphonso of Innovations America said this initiative of donating 13 motorcycles is to aid the Force in its crime-fighting momentum and efforts to make Guyana a safer country for all its citizens. He further called on other business entities to emulate this gesture and play their part in making Guyana a better place for all.

Among those present at the handing over ceremony were Traffic Officer Senior Superintendent Mahendra Singh, Officer in Charge Tactical Services Unit Superintendent Brian Lowenfield, Chairman of the Police Association Inspector Sohan Ramdat, along with other ranks of the Guyana Police Force.
