Fifty pairs of scissors were among the items seized when police conducted a search of over 3,000 patrons who attended the much-hyped Armageddon DJ Clash at the Guyana National Stadium at Providence, East Bank Demerara on Saturday night.
According to a police press release, 1,500 lighters, 30 small transparent plastic bags containing cannabis, 16 narcotic ‘joints’, 14 “offence” weapons, 1 can of Baygon and 5 tins of BOP spray were also seized.
Several persons were arrested for possession of narcotics.
