LUCAS STOCK INDEX (LSI)
The fourth trading period in February 2024 has resulted in the Lucas Stock Index declining by 0.571 percent on the sale of 208,516 shares. Seven stocks were traded this week which included one Tumbler and no Climbers. The Tumbler lost over G$4.5B in value and produced a similar impact on the index.
The stock price of Banks DIH (DIH) fell 2.913 percent on the sale of 206,059 shares.
In the meanwhile, the stock prices of Caribbean Container Inc. (CCI), Demerara Bank Limited (DBL), Demerara Distillers Limited (DDL), Demerara Tobacco Company (DTC), Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry (BTI) and Republic Bank Limited (RBL) remained unchanged on the sale of 200; 130; 708; 513; 356 and 550 shares respectively.
