Dear Editor,
Another Caricom state besieged by gangs. Parts of Belize have been put under a state of emergency due to an increase in gang related activities (Loop News Mar 27).
Just what are the grouses of the youth in Belize which led to this situation becoming so alarming that a state of emergency had to be invoked?
So is there a correlation between this transgression in Belize and that ongoing in the other sister Caricom nation, Haiti?
