Fawaaz Bacchus, the Managing Director of MF Bacchus Construction and Transportation Service, located at Fairfield on the Essequibo Coast, yesterday donated four new motorcycles to the Guyana Police Force Transport Department.

The motorcycles will be used in Regional Police Division #2, according to a release from the police force.

Deputy Commissioner ‘Administration’, Calvin Brutus, received the donation on behalf of the GPF at the Tactical Services Unit Drill Square, Eve Leary, Georgetown.

Under its Strategic pillar of Partnership, the release said that the GPF continues to foster and strengthen relations with the private sector and corporate donors to enhance and support safer and more secure communities.

Bacchus said donating four motorcycles would aid the GPF’s efforts in traffic enforcement and promoting public safety, especially in Regional Division #2.
