The explanation offered about the current spate of blackouts about ‘sudden rise in development in the country have caught the company with its back against the wall’ (GDN), has to be seen as an admission of sorts.
Company’s back against the wall, customers off the wall or rather off the grid for hours, daily.
The vast development and fast pace it is happening has put a key, aging utility under severe stress and duress to cope with increased demands. So, back against the wall amidst reading of riot act. Will that be enough?
