Two men are in custody after they were allegedly found yesterday with drugs during a police roadblock on the Weldaad Public Road, Region Five.
According to the police, Eon Williams, 29, a security guard of Vergenoegen was carrying a haversack in which 2.385 kilogrammes of suspected cannabis was stashed.
Haiasi Saul, 21, a construction worker of Stanleytown, New Amsterdam was found with 43 grammes of suspected cannabis.
Both are in custody at the Fort Wellington Police Station.
