HC 2702 (a white Toyota 212 motor car) was stopped by the police.

It was being driven by its owner,  a 47-year-old man who lives at Light Town, East Bank Berbice.

The police found three ‘market bags’ belonging to the passenger. Inside the bags were 15 parcels wrapped with clear plastic.

The parcels contained a quantity of leaves, seeds and stems suspected to be cannabis.
