Mackenzie High and Harmony recorded victories to seal their respective berths in the semifinal segment when the ExxonMobil Linden Secondary Schools Football Championship continued yesterday at the Wisburg ground.
Mackenzie High downed Linden Technical Institute 2-0. Second-half goals from Mandela McRae and Dexter Milo in the 64th and 68th minutes, respectively, settled the encounter.
Meanwhile, Harmony defeated Wismar/Christianburg by an identical score. Pharez Noble recorded a brace in the 26th and 60th minutes.
Meanwhile, the semi-final section will commence today at the same venue. At 14:00hrs, Mackenzie High will take aim at Linden Foundation, while Christianburg/Wismar will lock horns with Kwakwani at 16:00hrs.
