– says Coach Marlon Washington Coach of the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) football team Marlon Washington believes that his team will defeat Alpha United in the Group D-Guyana leg of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Club Championships today at the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) Ground.

Diamond Insurance Inter-Association U-19 cricket competition officially launched

Yesterday in the board room of Diamond Fire and General Insurance Company  the second annual Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) organized Inter-Association Under-19 Competition was officially launched A total of $350,000 was pumped into the staging of the tournament which  bowls off in April and which will include teams from West Berbice, New Amsterdam/Canje, Lower Corentyne and Central/Upper Corentyne.
