Couple held over marijuana in Moco-Moco Village

A twenty-nine-year-old farmer and his 18-year-old reputed wife were on Friday evening arrested by ranks of the Guyana Police Force who conducted a search of their Moco-Moco Village home, Region Nine and found three kilogrammes of cannabis.

Ganja found on public transport vessel, employee held

A 23-year-old employee of a public transportation vessel who was on the police’s radar for sometime was on Saturday morning arrested after almost 1.4kg of compressed cannabis was found in a cabin of the said vessel which was moored at Port Kaituma, North West District.

Attorneys general from 15 US states, DC decry immigration order

SAN FRANCISCO,  (Reuters) – Democratic attorneys general across the United States today condemned President Donald Trump’s order to restrict people from seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the country and are discussing whether to challenge the administration in court.
