Women worldwide rally for equality, and against Trump in U.S.

NEW YORK/SAN FRANCISCO,  (Reuters) – Women protested around the world yesterday for equal rights and in the United States against President Donald Trump, with many Americans skipping work or boycotting stores to demand economic fairness on International Women’s Day.

Guyana remains under prospected

Minister of Natural Re-sources, Raphael Trotman, on March 5, 2017 told a mining conference in Canada that Guyana remains under prospected and steps are being taken to make more data available on mineral rich areas.

Attaining parity for women also involves men

During a roundtable held by the Women and Gender Equality Commission on Tuesday in the lead-up to International Women’s Day, attendees were reminded that the fight for gender parity is not one for women only, but for men as well, and that education of both genders is the key to eliminating the gap.
