Dear Editor, Global policy makers failed to heed warnings that the threat of a pandemic is always present resulting in our current dilemma; the re-emergence of a Coronavirus was predicted after two prior Coronavirus outbreaks (SARS -2003, MERS – 2012) and, given the notorious mutation rate of the influenza virus, an influenza pandemic is always a possibility.

Dear Editor,  I’ll be grateful if this letter to the public and whomever it reaches can be used to shine a light on yet another forgotten small community named Blankenburg on the West Coast of Demerara.

Dear Editor, In a recent community open conversation on Mental Health, a high school student spoke of the difficulty of dealing with virtual schooling, and of dealing with the frustration of teachers and others who found it difficult in the pandemic.

Dear Editor, The outlook is exciting and Industrial Hemp is seen as a top contender that could significantly stimulate Guyana’s economy once the Irfaan Ali led administration remove the barriers swiftly for its cultivation and processing.

Dear Editor, I hold the view that 90% of the road accidents in Guyana are avoidable.
