Dear Editor, Dual citizens can represent us at the Olympics but not in Parliament.

Dear Editor, Most Guyanese highly approve of the actions and plans that President Irfaan Ali’s government is implementing to address major challenges such as the global pandemic, an unstable democracy, the defence of territorial and maritime sovereignty, climate change and the development of infrastructure.

Dear Editor, On these lazy and damp November days, I sometimes get a glimpse of a TV show called Undercover Boss.

Dear Editor, I wish to respond to Mr. Jamil Changlee’s letter published in the Stabroek News on 23 November, 2020 and titled ‘Dr Jagdeo’s past experience should not be neglected when considering what he can accomplish today at such a critical juncture’.

Dear Editor, There are a lot of grandiose schemes being announced by the government on an almost daily basis.

Dear Editor, The GAWU was disheartened when it read Mr Rudolph Singh’s letter titled `Worked 35 years at Guysuco but got no NIS pension’ which appeared in the November 23, 2020 Stabroek News.

Dear Editor, With the recent sacking of Dr Vincent Adams and numerous professionals by the PPP/C Government one is left to ask what is the rationale behind these sackings?

Dear Editor, Within the past week, my former school, Bishops’ High School, has made some headlines.

Dear Editor, President Irfaan Ali is about to sign an agreement with UWI (based in Jamaica) to train 20,000 folks in advanced specialized skills to meet the needs of a society on the take-off stage.

Dear Editor,  I read a paragraph and a few lines written by Lincoln Lewis titled, ‘Vindictive and intolerant politics being pursued by the Ali gov’t’ (SN, November 22,2020). 

Dear Editor, The PNC/APNU  Opposition could not find anything on which to attack the Government and so they had to resort to saying, Minister of Tourism, Ms Walrond, took her Ministerial Oath three days before she received her certificate of renunciation of her US Nationality and this puts her in the wrong when PNC/APNU Ministers and MP’s who were foreign nationals served for years as Ministers. 

Dear Editor, Permit me to write a response to the letter entitled, ‘MPs do not effectively represent the people because the system is warped’ (SN, November 17, 2020).

Dear Editor, The People’s Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C) runaway train, where they believe they can do anything to persons who were employed by or supported A Partnership for National Unity + Alliance For Change (APNU+AFC) Coalition Government, will have to reach a stop.

Dear Editor, Norway has shown an excellent track record in the management of their sovereign wealth fund (SWF) over the decades with its current value at over US$1 Trillion, which is equivalent to three times their annual GDP.

Dear Editor, The Toshao and villagers of Great Falls Amerindian Village, 58 Miles Mabura, would like to commend the Guyana Geology and Mines Commission (GGMC) for its support of the hinterland communities by maintaining the Linden-Lethem Roadway.
