Dear Editor, May I comment on your headline ‘Pietersen says entertainer Gayle would be great for the series’ (SN, May 23).

Dear Editor, Your editorial of May 10, ‘Chaos on the road’ mentioned almost everything that causes death and destruction on our roads.

We are loath to insert the adjective ‘former’, when describing Ramnaresh Sarwan as a West Indies batsman, but we have to wonder whether this wonderful but unfulfilled talent will ever return to the West Indies Test team.

Dear Editor, You would be aware of my insistent recommendation ever since 2008 for the re-siting of the commercial activities of the Deeds Registry – Companies Incorporation, Business Names Registration, Bills of Sale Registration along with Intellectual Property ie Trade Marks, Patents, etc, to a Commercial Registry away from the physical accommodation at the main Deeds Registry office below the High Court. 

Dear Editor, According to World Bank Director for the Caribbean Yvonne Tsikata, monies from the Guyana REDD+ Investment Fund (GRIF), or what we know as the LCDS,  are considered development assistance and Norway wants to make sure that funds are used  in the most transparent and effective way  (Stabroek News, December 11, 2010).
