Dear Editor, Just a brief enquiry… Haven’t heard from the political spy chief, James Bond, since the US Million-dollar disclosure or is it a “ bust”…which is so strange as he is such an informative chap to hear from.

Yesterday we reported that the Guyana Police Force had received the results of DNA samples which had been sent to St Lucia for analysis in relation to the murder of cousins Isaiah and Joel Henry as well as Haresh Singh on the West Coast Berbice.

CARICOM has been vindicated over Bolivia

Dear Editor, Our Caribbean Community (CARICOM) has been completely vindicated by the results of Bolivia’s presidential and parliamentary elections of 18th October 2020 – a landslide victory for Luis Arce, the presidential candidate of Evo Morales’ Movement Towards Socialism (MAS) political party, and also massive victories for MAS’ candidates in the elections to both Houses of Congress!

Bare minimum

Last week, when Labour Minister Joseph Hamilton provided an update on the ongoing discussions about increasing the minimum wage in the private sector from $44,200 to $60,000 a month, he revealed that in order to be fair, he needed to take the impact of COVID-19 into consideration.
