Altaf Habibulla has been named captain and Carlos LaRose vice-captain of the Georgetown team for the upcoming under-15 Inter-Association competition which will oppose East Bank at Diamond on Saturday in the opening game.
The team includes Ricardo Devers, son of former Guyana Under-19 player Sean Devers while Neil Barry Jnr. son of former Guyana player Neil Barry, is one of six stand-by players.
The competition is run by the Demerara Cricket Board and will be used to select the Demerara team for the Inter-County U-15 competition.
Also on Saturday, East Coast battles West Bank at the Lusignan Community Center ground.
The final is scheduled for February 10th.
The Georgetown team is as follows Altaaf Haibulla (Captain), Carlos La Rose (Vice-captain), Shawn Singh, Christopher Surat, Dayanand Roopnarine, Ricardo Devers, Delon Fernandes, Amir Khan, Azad Mohammad, Kevin Singh, Jahran Byron, Andre Stoll, Seon Daniels and Delroy Charles.
The six standby players are: Paul Lim, Dennis Haywood, Melvin Shewprasad, Shaquille Williams, Neil Barry (Jr) and Denesh Mangal. The manager is Shawn Massiah and the coach is Bharrat Mangru.
