The police yesterday said in a release that swift action by officers in the ‘G’ Division on Wednesday last, led to the recovery of a stolen shotgun.
The release said enquiries disclosed that a businessman of Maria’s Lodge left his shotgun in a bedroom and failed to properly secure the door. Two men entered the home and stole the weapon. The firearm has since been recovered. The two suspects were arrested and will be charged shortly.
