Mayor’s Cup seven-a-side quarters on tomorrow

The Banks DIH Thirst Park ground will come alive tomorrow with the staging of the quarter-finals of the Mayor’s Cup Inter-Village/Ward/Street seven-a-side, knockout football competition which is sponsored by AH Sports, Beepat & Sons and Banks DIH Ltd.

In the opening encounter from 18.30 hours, the Tiger Bay team will be looking to roar against Sophia while Mocha will try to make a mockery of Laing Avenue half an hour later.
North East La Penitance will clash with Goed Fortuin at 19:30 hrs while  Timehri takes on Plaisance in the final game at 20:00hrs.
The semi-finals will be contested on Friday.

First prize winners will walk away with $ 150,000 compliments of Banks DIH Ltd., and 10 pairs of football boots from AH Sports while the runners-up will receive $50,000 sponsored by M. Beepat and Sons.(KB)
