The police are investigating the murder of a 29-year-old Black Bush Polder man which occurred around 12.30 am yesterday.
According to a police press release, Amarnath Dhanraj, a labourer of Mibicuri South, Black Bush Polder was chopped in the head with an axe by a man with whom he was drinking.
A suspect is currently in custody assisting with the investigations.
