GFA’s Peewee football resumes today

The Georgetown Football Association (GFA) Courts-sponsored Peewee football competition will resume today with third round action at the Banks DIH ground Thirst Park from 1300hrs.

The tournament leaders are Monedderlust Football Club with six points and they are followed by Plaisance Panthers, Beacons Football Club and Mocha Champs respectively.
The leading goal scorer is Beacons’ Keron Heywood, who has booted home five goals and will be looking to increase that tally when he gets into action against Plaisance Panthers.

The matches, which will be played simultaneously, will see Thomas United going up against Strike Again and Monedderlust taking on Buxton from 1300hrs.

From 1400hrs, Fruta Conquerors will take on New Amsterdam whilst Sunburst Camptown opposes Pouderoyen and from 1500hrs, Santos will face Crane and Plaisance Panthers, Beacons.

The final set of matches will kick off from 1600hrs and will pit Green Acres Primary matching strides with Mocha Champs and Ann’s Grove taking on Marian Academy.
